eQuacks only collects your username, and your password. You password is securely hashed using Argon2. Even though it uses a secure hashing mechanism, you should always keep your passwords strong and secure. Your information is stored in a JSON file and will never be sold. If you forget it, you cannot get your account back. Our hosting providers (Vercel and PythonAnywhere) log your IP address and other metadata to prevent user abuse and denial of service. Finally, we store all transactions indefinitely in our logs, and as a public receipt. Under technical terms, it is almost impossible to access the public receipt without the link, but you should still acknowledge that it is public. By using this service, you agree to this.
